​We are excited to announce the reopening of ArtBox Atelier Brooklyn, Greenpoint afterschool program with close to a decade of experience.

On May 1st, 2021 we will welcome the students to our new location – 165 Nassau Ave – designed and equipped especially for our program needs. Though we’ve missed the creative energy of our students, “little artists” and their parents during the past year, we’ve used this time to explore resources, to plan an amazing program, and – most of all – to build us a new comfortable home, close to McCarren Park! This is a great improvement! We are so excited, we can’t wait for you to see the transformation!

​We commit to maintaining a safe place for our students to learn, create and most of all have fun! We would like to remind you that this is a team effort. We need your help to keep everyone safe. We have re-imagined our place to follow the guidelines of the CDC and ask that our community follow the protocols listed below.

​New Building Safety Protocols
Following the Covid-19 guidelines for businesses and child care and day camps reopening.

​Cleaning procedures
• ArtBox will routinely clean each day,
• Studio will be completely sanitized between classes throughout the day,
• Hand sanitizer station can be found entering the studio and in the classroom,
• Ventilators, air purifiers will be in use and door will remain open wherever possible in order to increase ventilation.

​Class Size Limitations
• Class sizes will be limited up to 15 students. This will ensure that the class meetings will fall under 17 person gathering limit including instructors.

​Student Precautions and Protocols
• Self-Health screenings are required before entry: check to see if you are exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms prior to building entry. If you do have symptoms, wait to enter premises until you have had no fever for at least 72 hours, other symptoms have improved, and at least 10 days have passes since your symptoms first appeared.
• Before entering your classroom, please use hand sanitizer. We will have sanitizer available outside of the studio entrance.
• All students must maintain a 6 foot distance when possible.
• Masks must be kept on at all times while inside the studio.
• ArtBox does not offer any snacks or treats. Water will not be provides at this time. Please pack extra snack and water for your child after school activities.​

​These guidelines are created with your, your child and our safety in mind. If you do not adhere to these protocols, the child will not be able to enter the studio or asked to leave in order to protect the health and safety of fellow classmates, teachers, and our staff.
