They visited the Old Continent to explore the timeless treasures, they traveled the world to discover nature’s wonders, they designed and built their dreams, dove into a deep deep ocean and learned new and useful skills like machine sewing…..

Plunge into the deep blue sea with us! From sea turtles to ocean gardens, we’ll explore the marine world by using a wide variety of media to capture our adventures.

WEEK 2 – July 15th – July 19th
Time Travelers
During this week we will transport to different time periods, with activities, art projects and games inspired by different eras.
WEEK 3 – July 22nd – July 26th
Nature Explorers
Five days of endless fun and lots of mess! To look closer at the gifts of nature, to learn about natural world, plants and animals we will do science experiments and various art projects.
WEEK 4 – July29th – August 2nd
It’s a Jungle Out There
Make summer vacation a wildlife adventure that your kid will never forget. Join us for a fun packed, creative and educational experience through the JUNGLE. Amazon Jungle, African Jungle and the Jungle around us.
WEEK 5 – August 5th – August 9th
Artistic Inspiration
This theme encourages kids to tap into their creativity and try their hand at various art forms. They might learn about famous artists and create their own museum worthy masterpiece based on famous artwork.

WEEK 6 – August 12th – August 16th -Sewing and Fashion Design Camp 1
WEEK 7 – August 19th – August 23rd – Sewing and Fashion Design Camp 2
WEEK 8 – August 26th – August 30th – Sewing and Fashion Design Camp 3
Introduction to sewing and leather craft.
During each week 6, 7, 8 kids will learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine as well as begin to understand sewing terminology and sewing techniques. Kids will design their own product from conception to pattern, to final product. By the end of each week kids will take home two sewing projects (pillow case, apron, PJ long or short pants, PJ top, down string bag) and one leather craft (bi-fold wallet, coin pouch or leather belt).

Health + Safety
ArtBox takes the health and safety of all our customers and staff very seriously. We have thoroughly looked over and applied the Summer Camp Guidelines outlined by the New York Department of Public Health (click here for more information) to our art camps. This is how they will be conducted this year:
Camp Length
Each camp is one week in length.
There will be a limit of 15-20 children per camp.
All children will stay in the same group for a week.
Drop Off/Pick Up
Drop off and pick up are both at our location at 165 Nassau Ave (entrance at Diamond Street).
